A mother herself, Valerie was inspired to start Baby Gear-USA® after a vacation where she needed to rent a car seat. She was disappointed in the quality and the dated model and decided to start Baby Gear-USA® to create a resource for those searching for safe, high quality baby equipment, with the highest standards of cleanliness and attention to child detail. Valerie received her Child Passenger Safety Certification for car seat safety from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. She is a Registered Dental Hygienist in Connecticut and Georgia, and received her Bachelor of Science degree in Dental Hygiene Education from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Valerie has been an ambulance corps volunteer and was a licensed Emergency Medical Technician for the State of Connecticut. She and her husband moved to Savannah, GA from New Canaan, CT and are the parents of three energetic boys. Valerie is actively involved in the community, but when she finds time, she enjoys kickboxing, tennis and cooking. |
